Meeting points
Group lessons ski
Children attending tuition in the Nursery Camp, Snow Garden and Blue Prince meet at our nursery slope in Mürren (Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn office), directly behind the Jungfrau Hotel.
Children and young people attending classes from Blue King to Red Star level meet up with their instructors on Allmendhubel (Allmendhubel funicular station exit).
Young people attending tuition at Black Prince and Academy levels gather at the Allmendhubel, on the small hill at the ski lift.

Snowboarding group tuition
Beginners at Blue Prince to Blue Star levels start their tuition in Mürren on the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn nursery slope.
Intermediate and advanced skiers meet up with their instructor on the Allmendhubel (Allmendhubel funicular station exit).

Private tuition
The meeting point for private lessons is at the ski school office in Mürren. In case of several consecutive lessons, the meeting point can be arranged individually with the snow sports instructor from the second day on. The meeting point is possible at the ski school office, at the Allmendhubelbahn station Mürren or Allmendhubelbahn Top.
At the meeting points Allemendhubelbahn valley station / mountain station the travel time of the snow sports instructor will be added to the lesson time.
A meeting point on Birg is possible from min. 3h private lessons / day.
For the meeting point Birg the travel time of the snow sports instructor will be deducted from the lesson time.

Equipment
The right equipment is crucial to successful learning. You will reach your targets faster by choosing the right equipment!
Skis and ski length:
Choosing the right skis with the right length enhances your skills. It is easier to achieve results with waisted skis. Skis with the correct length are also easier to control. The professionals at any sports shop will be happy to advise you.
Adjusting your ski bindings:
Always have your bindings adjusted by a specialist at a sports shop. The correct release setting is important in case of a fall.
Helmet:
During tuition, wearing a helmet is compulsory for children and young people. We strongly recommend that adults wear a helmet too.
Our ski instructors lead the way by example by always wearing a helmet.
Clothing:
Not too warm and not too cold. It is important to wear layers that are suited to the weather.
Sun protection:
Sun cream and sunglasses or snow sports goggles are essential, even in poor weather.

Every child attending tuition at the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn (from Blue Prince level) needs a ski pass!
Children up to 5 years free
Children up to the age of 5 can purchase a ski pass at a ski pass sales point.

The ski school area is located right next to the office of the Swiss ski school Mürren-Schilthorn.
The area and the facilities are owned and operated by the Swiss Mürren-Schilthorn ski school.

The ski school area 1 (between the rope lift and the ski school office) is reserved for the ski school.
Use of the ski school area 2 (between the cable lift and the Allmendhubel lift) is possible between 12.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. (public service).
Please note the further information on the use of the transport facilities in the ski school area.

Ski School transport facilities
TThe rope lift and magic carpet are the property of the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn and are operated exclusively by them. The facilities are only in operation when a supervisor from the ski school is on site.
The lifts serve exclusively to transport skiers and snowboarders!
However, the staff of the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn may evict guests from the site if lessons are disrupted or the safety of guests is endangered.
tobogganing:
For safety reasons, sledging is strictly forbidden on the ski school premises!
The use of the transport facilities is only permitted for skiers and snowboarders and is not intended to transport sleds or the like!
