Group tuition in skiing and snowboarding starts every Monday.

The registration deadline for all group lessons is one day prior to the start of the course. If the desired course is not yet fully booked, registration is possible on the day tuition starts. However, vacancies cannot be guaranteed.

Private lessons may be booked at short notice, depending on the availability of the ski or snowboard instructor.

Bookings may be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 3 days prior to course start. Cancellations must be confirmed by the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn. Changes or cancellations made less than 3 days before the course starts will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled after 4.30 pm h on the day before tuition starts will not be refunded.

Tuition generally takes place in all weathers. The Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn is entitled to cancel lessons if weather and snow conditions, restrictions imposed by official authorities, force majeure or non-operation of transport facilities for safety reasons make tuition impossible. Guests will be informed of cancellations immediately. There is no entitlement to a refund in the case of cancellations due to the events described above. The Ski School will endeavour to provide an equivalent substitute programme.

If a private lesson has to be cancelled by the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn (e.g. due to the illness of an instructor), the entire course fee will be refunded.

If the minimum number of course participants per equipment type, age category and skill level is not reached, the Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn reserves the right to combine groups or end the course early. If the week’s lesson is completed, the guest will receive a pro-rated refund for omitted course days in accordance with the Ski School price splitting structure.

If the lesson has to be terminated due to the guest’s lack of fitness or unsuitable equipment, there is no entitlement to reimbursement.

Insurance is the sole responsibility of the participants. No responsibility is accepted for accidents. The Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn advises all guests to take out accident and health insurance prior to course begin.

Children are divided into groups according to information provided by parents and any already completed lessons to date (Swiss Snow League booklet). The Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn accepts no responsibility for incorrect group allocation and reserves the right to reallocate incorrectly assigned children.

Ski School tickets are non-transferrable. There will be no reimbursement for unused tickets/coupons. A refund will only be given in the event of accident or illness and against the presentation of a sick note by a local doctor.

The Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn reserves the right to use photos and videos created during the lessons for press and public relations as well as for website and social media.

The Swiss Ski School Mürren-Schilthorn declines all liability for accidents suffered during tuition or competition.

The Ski School is not liable for any individual agreements made between a guest and a winter sports instructor.

We accept payment in cash (CHF, Euro) and all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express and Postcard).

The sole place of jurisdiction is Interlaken. Swiss law applies in the event of any dispute.
